This page honors the ancestral wisdom, rituals, and stories rooted in my Haitian lineage. I offer folk presentations that align with my work and mission. These offerings are shared to uplift, educate, and reconnect us to sacred cultural memory.
Some deeper teachings and ceremonies are held by invitation only, in order to protect their integrity and ensure they are received in right relationship.

"Irmina is an original multidisciplinary artist, wisdom keeper, and syncretic healer expanding the boundaries of her inherited traditions. As a mystic who dances, chants, and shares poetry and visual arts, she seeks to blur the lines between sacred embodiment and daily life as she articulates the full spectrum of gifts embedded in her DNA. Her work is interactive, transformative, and lively. She invites audiences to explore and embrace their uniqueness through engaging dialogue, chanting, and joys of play."

What happens when the most transparent blue-green sweet-tasting inner water collides with the heavy murky, dense earth at the base of the mountain?
What would one expect?
Meet Queen Tuya Nu. She is the daughter of Jean Claude Ulysse and Marthe Lucienne Ulysse. She is the granddaughter of Lamercie Lafrance and the venerable Meto Simeon. She is the great-granddaughter of Marie Louise Celestin and Alexandre Celestin, Madamn Dieudonne Deyo, and Monsie Deyo, from the patriarchal lines of Solomon and matriarchial lines of Mitil.
Born at the turn of the last century, 1967 to be exact. Queen Tuya Nu was created at the base of a mountain where blue-green waters flowed on Quiqueya Boyo, known today as Haiti. The youngest child of a middle-class Haitian family who enjoyed rare privileges during the dictatorship of Papa Doc. Neither her family's status nor their position shielded her from a childhood of physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles at home and abroad. She is one of many examples of the effects of cultural genocide and the loss of identity that often follows. She is a living witness to her matriarchal and nature-honoring culture's final blows, collapse, and destruction.
A presentation on the stark dualism she continues to reconcile and harmonize in this life.
This is her transformative journey as a ritual prayer.
I welcome the opportunity to uplift the Haiti I know and love. In a world where misrepresentation often drowns out the truth, I choose to highlight Haiti’s beauty, resilience, and profound cultural contributions. My work reflects a deep commitment to honoring this heritage and sharing its light with reverence and integrity.
